  • Km2s

So I need some Km2s by the 10th of December but everywhere I look they are back ordered. Anybody know of anywhere that has some in the 35 12.5 R15 flavor in stock and not stupidly over priced, aka under/about a grand for 4? Tire rack has the MTZs set to come in on the 17th so that may swing me in that direction but I still want to try to get the Km2s as that date is probably subject to change. Didn't know if this was the right subforum to put it.

they are less than $200 a piece at townfair, they had em for me in 3 days.
No worries, I'm not actually back, I'm just reminiscing about the old days.

I tried their website, and it says that they don't carry that size but I'll try calling tomorrow.

Town fair tire is back ordered, tire rack is back ordered, my local tire shop is back ordered, pretty sure I'm not getting them, considering getting a rim and tire package with km2's and maybe 16's. What are your thoughts on that guys? Maybe just go with dick cepek mud countrys

MT/Rs are back ordered indefinitely from everywhere I looked except tire rack and tire rack's date is well into the future so they were out as well. Long story short I did a lot of looking and 4 wheel parts had a set so I bought them and added the hazard program so as far as I can tell no matter how I destroy these tires if I destroy them I get replacements for free.

Better look into that hazard thing. Usually they won't Cobbrr sidewall damage on mud terrains. Only road stuff like nails.

I specifically asked "what if I am stuck and an spin a tire against a sharp rock and puncture the side wall then keep driving on it to get out to a road and utterly destroy the tire?" They said anything is covered less commercial/competition use and it is only pro-rated after 50% tread. Oh and they need to be able to read the DOT numbers but all I need to do if I need it is they send me a new tire and hold the amount for it on my card, then I cut out a section of the tire with the ID numbers and a section of tread and when it gets there they take the hold off and I get a free tire.

                    Reference Zullo's tire thread...

If both those options are out, it's not the end of the world. MTZ's, STT's, UTI's, they're all the same...
