I am looking for a early Bronco Dana 20 transfer case, it is not the same as the Jeep version, it came in 60-something to 77 Ford Broncos and has a driver side front output. I would like to find a whole one but I can use just an empty case as well. Thanks

I have seen a lot of these on ebay for about 100 bux. I see one now but it looks like it is missing some parts. BTW (if you didnt already know or if it even matters to you) the Bronco was from 66-77 and there were two Tcase gearings; according to B.C. Broncos:
"The Dana 20 transfer case has a 2.46:1 low gear ratio. In early 1973, Ford switch to a 2.34:1 low gear ratio. These transfer cases used two different shifter designs known as either the "J" pattern or "T" handle. The "T" handle was used from 1966 to 1972, and the "J" pattern from 1973 to 1977."
...Oh yeah, what did you do?Last edited by Customjob; 08-25-2010, 01:55 PM.2 Broncos are better than 1

I found one in NH for 50 bucks... its a J shifter, but it doesn't matter to me, other than the gearing, the shift rails are different, but I can swap mine over since I custom ground mine and I have the Tera Lo gears which work in either case.
Check out my build thread, Monday we were down by the old office messing around and I went to crawl up this face and the case just broke in half, and it was not from the driveshaft being too long. I have heard of people breaking dana 300's, the low gears put a lot of stress on the cast housing.
I am going to put the whole thing back together and sell it. I figure the NP435 the AA to the Bronco 20 with twin sticks, 32 spline Wild horses output, twin sticks and Tera-Lo Gears, should be worth some decent money to an early Bronco owner.1950 Willys Trail Rig
