i agree, selling modified things is difficult. they certainly can only be sold to a niche market.
example: i sold the wrx for $8000 and bought it for $7500 a year ago. put about 4 grand into it not including the $3000 built trans a month before selling.
so yes it's possible to get close to what you want, but you'll have to be patient. good luck dude
same type of example. it's an enthusiast market. someone that will pay 5500 for a build xj wants that specific xj. those people are few and far between with cash in hand. same deal with my car, took awhile to find someone but once i did it was gone that day. so shhhhh heavyweightedmetalplatingguy
