i agree, selling modified things is difficult. they certainly can only be sold to a niche market.

example: i sold the wrx for $8000 and bought it for $7500 a year ago. put about 4 grand into it not including the $3000 built trans a month before selling.

so yes it's possible to get close to what you want, but you'll have to be patient. good luck dude

same type of example. it's an enthusiast market. someone that will pay 5500 for a build xj wants that specific xj. those people are few and far between with cash in hand. same deal with my car, took awhile to find someone but once i did it was gone that day. so shhhhh heavyweightedmetalplatingguy

There is a offroad park up here. Nowhere near as big as Rausch but it is decent.

And there are like half a dozen short bluish trails around. And there are tons of 4 wheeler trails, and I go to MA and VT.

Of course, you can get lucky and I think mine sold in 3 days by the first kid who saw it.

what i am trying to say is "stuff" doesnt really add much at least to resale with XJs. the more "Stuff" the more limited your market is.

Very modded XJs go for 4-5 all day long.

all that it comes down to is miles and condition. exceptions would be very uniquely modded stuff (v8 swaps, race ready stuff, blah blah)

with that said i have no doubt Ian can pull 4500-5000 for this jeep without trouble at all.
