  • MY XJ WAS STOLEN!!

My 95 green 4 door XJ was stolen this morning. Naugatuck CT out of my drive way.
    License plate: 887-XEM
    VIN: 1J4FJ28S7SL547562
If anyone sees one please give me a call.
    Justin: 203-522-2113

The XJ is stock 4 door, normal green (not the dark green), no tint, NO power anything. Auto, NP231,
Very clean body, front bumper just a little tweaked. Grey interior.
Newish set of All Terrain tires 30x9.5r15 I believe they are General's and the rims are all rusty.

#1 way to know it is mine.
I just finished replacing the passenger front floor last week. I replaced the entire floor from the front cross member (front seat mount) forward.
I seam sealed and undercoated it so it is hard to notice but the floor is now flat no ribbing (rolls).

I hope to find this thing, I don't have theft insurance.

    Please keep an eye out.
I know you guys can spot a XJ from 2 miles away.

    Thank you
    Justin 203-522-2113

That really sucks! I'll keep my eyes open, keep a look out on Craigslist as well, there's a chance they might be dumb enough to try and part it out or sell it on there.

You should post a pic of it on here so we all know exactly what it looks like, or in the members only section so the public cannot see.

I don't know if I have a picture of that jeep but I'll look through my files when I get home. I'll post the VIN too.

I figure there is a couple reasons to steal a car.
                  Part out.
                  Joy Ride.
                  Needs a car.

Part out, it's stock so not worth much, and the parts are so cheap for that anyways.

Joy ride, why bother steeling a stock XJ when there is so many lifted XJ just as easy to steal.

Needs a car, this is what I'm hoping for just drive it around until someone catches it or the abandon it.

I guess they can need a car change the VIN or move far away in which I might not find it.
At least I have some custom floor repair all documented with pics to back that up.

I plan on going to every Cherokee part out.

Not like XJs are hard to steal all you need is a screw driver.
Kill switches going in every vehicle next chance I get.

                  Thanks again
                  ~Justin

if you are looking on craigslist for partouts, make a new email address when you email him.... some thieves are smart and if they can link you to the jeep they stole they aren't gonna cooperate.

i know someone who just got their apartment burglarized, he found his tv on craigslist, but spooked the guy because he used his real email address and they linked him to the house they just robbed.
