  • I wanna go to Colorado

I saw some pics from a few guys on another forum that were on a trail called Black Bear Pass in Colorado. I would love to see these scenes in person one day.

    Just thought i would share.

That looks amazing, even more so because i've never seen a WK actually wheeling.

Definitely moving out in that general direction after college.

i was just in colorado and new mexico a couple weeks ago for a backpacking trip. its awesome out there. the mountains are incredible. pretty much every other truck on the road had a dirt bike or quad in it. only saw a couple built 4x4s in that area though. also there is basically no humidity there which rocks

Yea, got a new top piece for the front and then had to have the bracket for the relocation in the rear welded again. All's good now, axles stay under the jeep

black bear was the ONLY mountain pass closed to jeeps while we were in the ouray/telluride area. i guess the trail wasnt wide enough yet. (still snowed in in late june) It was open to 2 wheels and side by sides. Those pictures are far from the most breathtaking on that trail. I posted a pic up in the members section, i'd get it but I aint allowed in thur no moar. The hard part is the switchbacks getting into telluride. longer wheelbase rigs need to do like 9 point turns in places. or you die.

It was the trail i had my heart set on doing, and the only trail closed. some other trip
