I don't know, the marlin .35 lever action I have is all metal I think was made before there was plastic.Originally posted by HeavyMetal View Postmarlin has too many plastic parts anyway
I just don't want to buy Chinese junk or a walmart special where you can never get a replacement part.
Whatever I can get my best bang for my buck.
I'll take a look at both the marlin and the savage and I'm not against used either, as long as I know it wasn't abused.
I'm in no hurry just a thought I had today.RCrocs #123 Brown CJ-5

Then get a Savage or a Marlin. Both companies have excellent customer service and are American Companies. Marlin Firearms became partner companies with Remington and Bushmaster, so they will still be made here in America as well.Originally posted by customcreationsllc View PostI don't know, the marlin .35 lever action I have is all metal I think was made before there was plastic.

The only plastic part on a Marlin Leveraction is the Magazine Follower.
Also, don't buy a Ruger lever action. They stopped making them for a reason.sigpic
