I guess we will see. Im pretty much gonna starve my self and skip a bunch of meals, getting this detox cleanser thing from GNC, and living off of water. And running 4 times a week or so.Originally posted by Adam View PostUnless your doing 2 of cardio every day, I seriously doubt you will lose 20lbs in a month.

Yeah thats the best thing for you. Im involved with a weight loss challenge at school through our co-ed frat and we had to see a trainer before we started our challenge. The key points she told us were to eat smaller snacks than the meals as well as making sure you are running everyday if possible, or at least close to it. Def cutting out the foods w/ high fat content and calories and such. And like you said in your first post, lots of water.Originally posted by fullwidthxj191 View PostYour actually better off eating like 6-8 very small snacks throughout the day than 3 meals.

why are you joining the military? I actually wouldnt recommend it, I didnt get big on purpose before joining, it just happened. And I already was 190 before I ever had planned on joining. No, you will not get that skinny at basic. They force you to eat right. My buddy was 130 , 5'11 at basic and they actually forced him to gain weight because he was too skinny. When all of us were getting screamed at, eating for 1 minute before we had to get up, he got to sit down, take a full 10 minutes to eat, and go up for seconds if he wanted. They got him up to a healthy weight.Originally posted by XJFez View Post

go for it dude. my 6'3" 293 lb self is also dieting. not insanely, but i'm eating extremely healthy and trying not to drink as much beer. dropping to about 250 for summer is a goal of mine and with 3 months thats pretty possible considering i go up and down in weight so easily. but still good luck broski
No worries, I'm not actually back, I'm just reminiscing about the old days.

That way your muscles recover using the healthy nutrients you've been taking in throughout the day.Originally posted by Pedro View Postthats really bad for you to starve yourself. your better off eating just 3 smaller meals prob
Anyways I kind of came off like a dick earlier. But you want to do it the right way so you don't gain all the weight back right away.
It sounds gay, but next time you get gas pick up a magaizine like "FLEX" or some kind of weightlifting magazine. They ALWAYS have articles on weight loss and nutrients in them that are pretty helpful. Just don't get suckered into the 200 + advertisements for stuff like Hydroxycut.2000 XJ

Wow! Well, i'm joining the USAF b/c i dont want to be a tree climber forever, and school and I don't mix well. I've actually been obsessed w/ aviation since i was little, and i have about 68 hours and 4 solo's in a cessna 172. LOVE IT! Anyways, to keep on topic, my friend is my height and made a bet w/ his friends at work about who can lose the most in the shortest amt. of time, he did similar to you w/ giving up the beer etc etc. and ate chicken ceasar salad for about a month for lunch and dinner. He went from 190 to 167 in about a 2 months. That was all w/out going to the gym, important part is to just stick w/ it.
P.S...if you have time shoot me a PM why you dont think i should enlist.
