i took the saftey course while i was at college. i started painting today and will finish the messed up fairing and start on the others.

the choices were find the old paint(ok paint but not exactly what i want) just paint that fairing black, or paint the whole bike however i wanted it. So i'm painting the whole thing for a fun project.

I fixed the fairing with poly-flex and primed it.

some more pics of the process.. waiting for the last coat of color to dry then i'll pull the tape off and clear coat

if all goes well i will do the whole bike this way, i'm trying it on the fairing so if it looks like shit i can sand it down and just use gloss black

you really like your black on lime green haha

i'd be screwed on a bike. blew out my back brake on my quad and got so use to riding with only the front i barely use the back anymore(now fixed).

I'd say about 90% or more of your braking is with the front brakes accept in the corners when you use to rear very litely(The proper term I believe is trailbraking), use the front without ALOT experience you'll end up dead or seriously hurt!
BTW nice job with the paint/body work!
