Miata..... gay as shit, but i'm just sayin.

And when you think about the fact that i am plating front to rear, the way i'm doing it, the crossmembers i'm adding underneath. My jeep will basically have a frame, with a unibody hidden underneath.

I like Miatas. I was correcting the rotary issue. I would certainly buy a miata as a track/autoX car.

didnt catch that- i don't mind my dad's RX8 aside from the fact that it makes my Jeep look leak-free.

As to the Miata as a track car- holy SHIT this thing will move once we get the engine swap moving. right now, the wheel spins, but i think the hamster's dead.

I wanted an RX-8 for a while when I first started driving, and almost bought one used. Now, I'm pretty glad I didn't after hearing about all the issues owners experience after 30-40k.

I did test drive it though, and I will say this. They handle like they are on fucking RAILS. To this day, I've never driven in anything that drove so nuetral and planted around corners. I felt like Mario Andretti.

If you don't believe me, check out Top Gears review of it.

                      1. Kind of underpowered, but fun as all hell to drive (when they let me)

                      2. I drove my Jeep in front, and my dad drove the Miata behind me. Ergo, it followed me home

When you realize how much top end kick you can get out of a 1.3L, I'd be impressed.

He has yet to let me drive some of his toys, and it makes me sad. I could count on my hands the number of times I've been allowed to drive the 'Vette and I helped him rebuild the engine
