  • So I'm watching top truck challange...

...and I have mixed feelings about it.

So far all I have seen are massive rigs with rockswells and 20" of lift on top of 15" of lift. Some of the obstacles are fucking cool, but others, like the logs in the mud, make me want to punch babies.

Have you guys seen this show or anything. I've heard of this before but never bothered to watch it.

    What do you guys think?

I enjoy watching it. Kinda fun to see something other than crawlers and watching people beat the fuck outta their shit

97 TJ that I think is pretty neat.

top truck challenge is like watching what was cool in the 90s with wheeling, just in the present day...

it certainly has its place and following..and the rigs involved are no doubt unique!

top truck challenge aint just a show, but is a major event

I like when they do the acceleration and braking, some of those rigs have some mean engines (overkill) and the tank trap, that is about it. I haven't seen it in a long time.

I saw it on the Outdoor Channel, so it was either watch that or Monster Trucks go around in a fucking circle for 30 minutes.

There was one massive white CJ7 lifted to the sky that had a massive Pirate4x4 sticker on the hood. Some girl was driving it...had rockewells of course.

Yup. The shit they have those rigs go through are no joke. Some dude mashed the skinny pedal down across the telephone poles in muddy water and ended up destroying a tire and a rim and went like 4 feet in the air on numerous occasions.

Just remember your probably watching one from like 2000 and rigs have evolved alot since then. They competition has evolved, they now do 5 "trucks" and 5 buggies. They dont have to be street legal anymore. They obstacles have gotten alot harder. Personally I find it alot more entertaining then KOH, but I have never been a huge fan of comps so what do I know.

I remember one guy had this crazy fuckin thing that articulated. Like behind the cab could be flexed hydraulically. That was a number of years ago at this point. I remember looking like an an old FC jeep.

That might have been tough truck though come to think of it.

It reminds me of a big drunken redneck tractor pull.

Not saying I dislike drunken redneck tractor pulls though.

I went to vermonster last month and it was a hell of a time. Normally I dislike mudding, However, alcohol fueled big blocks in full size trucks on ag tires and rockwells are hard to hate. Especially with the copious amounts of booze in my system.
