    2nd GENERATION....and some paint.

i was having issues with stability and weight due to the design of the rear half of the cage and location of battery. redesigned the back half and relocated the batterys further forward and lower on the chassis.

the 4 red led's in the rear, the two outter most one will remain red for stop lights but the 2 inner ones im going to change to amber and blue

No worries, I'm not actually back, I'm just reminiscing about the old days.

I am not into the whole remote control rock crawlers thing, but booger welds or not this thing is definately cool. Definately the coolest RC crawler I have seen. Also a great way to practice welding for your lifesize shit. So much props, I must say I would be happy to put aside some scrap steel for you to practice your welds with if you want, don't take it as an insult. I think what you did here is pretty sweet.

it is heavy, but its not as bad as you would think. the weight actually helps it in some ways... ask josh it crawls pretty good. he drove it at the meet.

the xj body will be on another crawler. im building one now thats 3 link front and leaf sprung rear

just an FYI the sheet metal panels that make up the fenders and bed are zip tied i, not welded, the gaps are filled with silicone and painted so thats why it looks funny around the edges the panels are not welded in...

Right after you post any Jeep related picture on Facebook it gets posted here within the hour. Not being a dick, just being observant. Looks good though
