People used to call the cops all time on us for skating. Cops would ask us how we could do that and not hurt ourselves. Say you need to come back when they aren't open

Actually a store owner in sono called and said I was scaring his customers away. It was 3:30 on a Tuesday and the block was deserted. The cop was actually like" I don't have a problem with it, but he keeps calling so can you stop?". That's what pisses me off the most, I was doing nothing illegal, but had to stop because someone had a stick up their ass. Rather than just telling the guy to deal with it, they made me stop. I was longboarding too so I wasn't even doing tricks or waxing curbs, just carving up and down the sidewalk.

Like last year my neighbor called the cops because I was shooting a pellet gun at a target in my backyard. The officer seemed to be more pissed at the complainant for abusing the 911 system than to worry about me not bothering anyone.

It's a liberal state folks. Liberals always try to tell others what o do, even if they have no experience in what they are trying to enforce. It makes them feel better about themselves to ruin other peoples lives, even if it's only a minor thing. A liberal is most happy when they can sound or act like an authority on something they nothing about.

Cop was super cool and more annoyed with the guy than anything. He actually never told me to stop skating. He said it was legal to skate on the street. He then told me that the store owner is constantly a pain in the ass, but because he has money and a business in sono they have to deal with him. He said i could continue to skate, but the guy was most likely going to call again.

Thats actually what i did. I skated around for 5 more mins and the cop came back. Same thing again, told me i didn't have to stop but that the guy is a real pain in the ass.

Cop leaves, i start skating again and he's back in about 5 more mins. Tells me that the store owner must really have it out for me, cause he just called a 3rd time. The cop then asked if i would stop staking for the night, not because it was illegal, but because he was sure that the ass hat store owner was going to call again...

I'm pissed that all you have to do is own a business and harrass the police and they will bend to your will.
