Correct me if i'm wrong, but wasn't this it's first fly by before it comes closer after it goes around the sun, and may be close to impacting the earth in 2025?

2/3 of the earth is water, so there is a 2/3 chance it will hit the water if it doesnt burn up into the atmosphere first and dissipate into something even smaller, causing less damage.
I still want it to land on san francisco or LA though.

It'd be sick if hit somewhere on the san andreas fault and that whole state drifted into the ocean.

Even if it hit the water the tsunami it created would fuck shit up and kill thousands. Granted if it hit land it would definetly be worse, but no impact is ever a good impact.
I'm willing to bet an ocean impact would be worse, as the tidal waves created affect a greater area, not that a direct NYC or India impact wouldn't kill a billion people...
