HP- Love it vista requires alot of ram but its still fast

Toshiba - had one, and have one now. The price is right, and so are the looks and the performance.

HPs/compaq have the worse track record in my experience.

Dells are great, new toshibas are good; asus, IBM, and apple (gasp) make great ones also.

yeah compaq and i are not friends after they tried to charge me 500 dollars for something they didnt do (ie. we gave you a new hard drive.....really? because all my old shit is still on this computer, and you sent me a letter saying you did nothing to my laptop so how is THAT possible?????)

and my gateways motherboard died after about a year and a half...soooooooooooo yeah. lol

im hearing dell from a lot of people.

the mini 12 isnt that small, the mini 9 however, is tiny
