Ive been posting here and there. I know Adam and the aluminumcrawler is a good friend of mine.. strange but good guy. Friends from LI.. Done a bunch of work on rigs... Had a shop.. Still have a shop... cant work out of shop.. Sucks...

If anyone remembers? I think i had the post up a wile ago what i did, the trucks i built... Anyway, one butmunch in perticular is making it insanly hard to get back up and running.. Bitched to the DMV, aka satans asshole, that i have been operating as an unregistered repair shop... In NY, that sucks... SO... I have not taken on any work since july 07. Just finishing up a few things, let some hack rent my space and tools for a little wile... Anyway, i want to get back into the mess of things..

Feb 25 i have a hearing.. If everything works out, I am looking to go back at it.. If not, im done.. Tossing in the towel for good.. If it goes well, I have the axles i built and others laying around and alot of other parts.. I would like to part things out to people who have rigs but it seams best to get things rolling to just build a truck, drive it for a wile and that is it but have mixed parts all over.. Mostly XJ..
For the mean time im looking to clean up some lose ends, get some parts off the shelves and things built of my own and wait and see. Unless someone knows the judge or some DMV laws of NY pertaining to anything that can get my name cleaned up, im kinda screwed but figured i could get some things moved to anyone who might be interested?

I figure i would finally let the cat out the bag so to say.
Ive had to close up shop because of a total and complete tool that at one point i called a friend.. We usta wheel and he was just a part of the group.. He would hang out at the trails and got into wheeling hook line and sinker.. Well for whatever reason he broke the trust I had come to accept as like a moto for people who wheel.. one stop, we all stop and help each other out..

Well this guy wanted to go the next step in his wheeling experiance. Build a beat up beater of a rig to just beat the snot out of and enjoy like ive come to do and others. Well deep into this project, between friends, money always turns out to be an issue.. Ive always tried or hoped to think ive tried to help everyone out, be as fair as i could and sometimes too fair at my own expense because i figured, what i did here and how i helped would be returned on the trail. Well i had to leave the project of his. I could not keep laying out cash and buying parts for his build. I had to get cought up on my own physical transportation, get cought up on my bills.. He felt i was not owed the money I laid out. He tried to walk away from it.. Small claims court backfired against me. I tried to claim the rest of the money for just the parts.. The 3 months of work on it and storing it itried but really just the money for the parts i had bought i wanted back. He went to DMV and claimed i have been operating as an unregistered repair shop..
Since all this has been going on since july 07, ive disapeared and just tried to get cought up in bills.. get a normal job, maintain the shop somehow.. I let another SO called friend in.. he used and abused like everyone does.. i took that hit too and trying to recover from that.
Needless to say, friendships ive made through wheeling have pulled apart.. i still hold alof of peolpe as a good friend and if i have it and you need it on the trail its yours.. But that trust is gone because of this person as well as some others..

At any rate..
Feb 25 i have a hearing at DMV.. I have some idea's of what could happen? Fined, possible sealing of premasis, and restatotion for any amount of money already exchanged. In otherwords, not only did he steel parts i paid for, and had all recipts for, but the money he paid for them back.. The type of person who would go this far after a few years of wheeling with is out doing this.. After all of this i only asked for after working on his rig for 3 months, laying out the cash for it, is to pay me back for the parts he has and 2 tires and rims back.. There is more to this story and im sure it will pop up but if i was the bad guy in all of this, than so be it.
If the court case goes well, I would like to try to pick up the peaces one last time.. One last run at it to see if i could finally make a living out of this.. If not, Im done wheeling, im done with people like this. Id rather go back to drag racing on the street. Your out for yourself and could care less what happens to the other guy.

Dan is a talented, honest and great guy. He has been taken advantage of a few who said they were his "friends"! The people he speaks of used him for his time, shop space, tools/equipment, materials, knowledge and mechanical ability! These pieces of shit gave nothing in return and are in no way, shape or form a "FRIEND" by any means!!!!! I support Dan completely and will continue to regardless of his situation and hope that others that are out there that know him will do the same! If you support Dan and are a true "Freind" or just like him and what he's about I ask that you fucking man up! Post up here and who you are. Hell, we should all show up with our rigs at this fucking bullshit hearing and support the guy. I'm already going, if anyone else wants in post up and i'll set it up! dmv law is like reading pig latin.. retarded.. So far i make out that he can't get restitotion because it went to small claims first.. second, there is a board made up of 2 mechanics, and a few lawyers.. Or something.. the hearing i have to go to the only things i would like to know if true or false..

If the rig was never inspected. NY law i think states the registration lapses?? Does it matter if the rig never makes it on the road?

if the rig WAS finished, if it could never be inspected, i know it would not pass or technically, The anal proper inspection station would say your out of your mind..

THe words, if the vehical was not intended to drive goods or people or if the rig is towed to and from out of state where it is to be used for other purposes?? or something.. Its slow reading and going back and forth and all that..

Funny you should say that.. I am allowed to work on parts removed from vehical but not remove them myself??? read that someplace too.. what axles you looking for? I had posted up about a d44 and d30 all rebuilt and fresh with 4.11s. Gotta move that post. Welding, bumpers, cages, axles, all that fun stuff.. If you can get it to me on the island and you unbolt it or something or move it around, i think i can do it?? lol stupid DMV law.
