we got a Subaru

So about a month ago my girlfriend was hit head on in a snow storm and totaled her jeep. After a week of driving my jeep around and 2 weeks of driving a rental car around she finally decided she didnt want another Cherokee and we got an '07 Impreza.

This is the best picture i have of it so far.


Its a nice little car, gets right around 30 mpg if shes driving. If i'm driving its substantially less because going 65 feels like 35 and i dont realize i'm doing 90, until she yells at me. Then I have to apologize and explain to her that when i do 65 in my Jeep it feels like 90.

Not that i wanted to... I tried real hard to get her into another Cherokee because they are so easy to fix and maintain and parts are so readily available for them. She has been in two front end collisions in a year, not that either of them were her fault but her luck has been bad.

When we first met she had an '87 Legacy Wagon and she loved it. Not that she didnt love the Cherokee too but she was looking for something better in gas since her commute to work is a far bit longer now than it ever was.

Plus her best friend just got a new Mazda 3, so its a bit of a competition thing i think.

yea its a decent looking little car. I saw one in town the other day with a small spoiler on the trunk and i thought that looked a bit nicer than without.

One of my best friends has a Blob Eye WRX and hes been on my case about how i have to get all these different things for it. I'm like nope her car stays stock.

My girlfriend just bought an 06, looks just like that one except grey, with 46k. Its a 5 speed. She bought it to replace her totaled 02 Impreza RS. How much did you pay if you don't mind me asking?
