if you watch the video, it didnt matter the tire had 90 PSI. It can happen at 8 psi. There is a chemical reaction inside the rubber compound that creates heat as a bi-product, which thus expands the air in the tire and explodes.. Look how quickly the temp and air pressure rose. It was climbing pretty fast. It wouldnt really matter if you started at 8 psi or 90 psi, the pressure would eventually climb high enough to explode the tire.
Also in the video the guy explains a scenario where a guy knew that this reaction would happen so he pulled the valve core to relieve the pressure and the pressure built so fast that it exploded anyway.
There is also a chance you get HIV or AIDS from fawking one of the most beautiful girls you have ever seen in your life. Just because there is a slight chance, would you say no?
How many times have you seen that actually happen in real life? Stop being such a puss bag, and live your life.
dude i had a rediculously stubborn lugnut today and long story short i got so pissed that i just torched the whole stud off the wheel. lol i didnt think about this video. but my 33s are on my soft 8s under my jeep and noone is dead
never-seeze them and torque only to 75 ft lbs... you'll never have that problem again.
No worries, I'm not actually back, I'm just reminiscing about the old days.

listening to that guy talk was painful....."uuuhhhh ummmm and uhhhhhhh" hire a pro next time bridgestone
He's an engineer, leave the poor man alone. He is trying to educate us on why we should use welding torches and plasma cutters on a rim and mounted tire for a prolonged period of time rather then a quick burst of flame that doesn't even produce enough heat to light paper on fire.
Oh yeah. uhhhhhhm yeah uhhhhm let me repeat that for the fifth consecutive time in a row to reduce the amount of times I say uuuuuuhm mmmmmmmmmmmaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaauuuhhhhhhh hhhhhuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhh

for future reference, if one of those wont come off, use pliers and force the cap off and then use an 18mm socket, comes right off
you people think i dont know these things. i didnt put these tires on, if i had i would not have had this problem. my friend at town fair mounted, balanced and put them on for pennies so i kinda expected something like this to happen, but thanks for all the ideas that i already tried
