Anyone been to Jamaica?

I went a while back on a day trip on a cruise. It was really nice getting a tour, but as everyone said watch for the locals and you'll be fine. When were walking around we pretty much were chased by a group of guys trying to offer us weed until we close to the port and they saw the authorities. We took a taxi tour from this cool little guy named Basile that looked like the Jamaican version of my grandfather He was really nice and took us through some gorgeous areas.

The one thing with their people is they see whiteys and try and take advantage of them being oppressed. My geography teacher took a trip there and said they hit a chicken and when they stopped to apologize everyone from the village came out and claimed it as theirs after they saw her trying to pay for the chicken.

That reminds me, the 3rd time I was there we ran a dog over on our bus. Dogs are like the squirels of the U.S., they run around along the streets and get run over all the time. You'll probably see them in passing rumaging through garbage, with like 8 nipples because they all get knocked up and breed like crazy.

Anyway, thanks for all the info. The resort we are staying at has those RZR buggy things we are going to take out and explore. We are also going to the dunns river falls. We are staying in Ocho Rios then exploring out from there.

Sounds awesome though, can you find were they bar/cliff jump was exactly? That was one thing I really wanted to do while I was there.
