First I would have gotten a 6cyl. If I were to start over I'd probably build axles first and rework the suspension and get that to where I want it.

I love the green beaner... it was a fun idea that i thought oh hai i could get a trailer queen and wheel the piss outta it. For the price it was ok...

Where i think i went wrong was selling my old jeep/buying towmater. Dont get me wrong i love towmater but i realllly wish i had a DD. I honestly would have rather not bought the green beaner which would in turn i would have not bought towmater... and i would probably sold the old jeep and bought a 97+

With the money I haz into Towmater+ the green beaner i could have had a baddddass DD xj caged and built like i wanted.

I kinda bought mine built already eventhough i have changed just about everything underneath it. The only thing I regret is not buying TNT or clayton arms. however I do love the RC ones, they were just a pain in the ass due to the manual trans. but they are all good now. I wish I put some money into a beefier rear, but that will happen down the road when i put an 8.8 in it. As of now, the 29 spine suits my needs. I like where my jeep is now as a DD

97 TJ that I think is pretty neat.

My XJ has gotten a good start on what I want it to be, I've had 16 cars at the age of 18 and never owned a vehicle more that a year except my F-250 which I wish I still had being that at the age of 17 I had 10k invested into it and it was a nice set of wheels. My current XJ will hopefully end up being a DD able trail rig I can drive to PA wheel and Drive home going to stay with a 33 for now and once its gear'd/ locked up front Next mod will be steering then longarms

the only regrets i have are that i didn't do enough initial research when buy my XJ, also i wish i didn't sink a million dollars into my ranger build to only drive it for a few months before the temps ran out.
