  • Looking back...

Today I was thinking about how my jeep is now and how it was stock.

I started wondering that if given the chance to do it all again whether i would build it to what it is now or not.

Hows everyone feel about their rigs? do you regret modding them? was it worth it? would you have done it differently?

share your thoughts on the matter.

I would have not let Andrew drive.

but really I wouldnt of done much different except go with an RE lift instead of Rustys. I liked where my XJ was.

its all the little things that add up

i have been known to cut a corner or 2 to save some time. and i end up taking more time out of my day to fix it correctly when it begins to fail

wasnt that the plan for some time?

slowly acquire parts until you have enough to build one from scratch?

          or am i crazy?

making the jump to remove the back seat and put my tank back there ect.. was a big step.

but i like it, i love my jeep. I just wish the frame wasnt made of frosted flakes

once its back on the road i might have to get some creeps to see how they do on the road compared to my iroks.

iroks are one of the nicer swampers on the street

                  i liked them

creepy crawlers are worth every penny though. they make iroks seem oval shaped. while iroks make tsl's seem square.

I'd either have gone a he'll of a lot smaller than my gimungo lift, or in reality I would have kept my old stepside and sas'ed that, I'm thoroughly depressed with this whole unibody idea lol

i would have bought a DD other than the jeep way sooner!

and i would have definitely not wheeled that line on O trail that tweaked the jeeps body, haha

im pretty happy with the route i went on my jeep..only thing i wish i did was get one with a 4.0 and an ax-15...and as far as the iroks on the road i couldnt agree more. i just put a set on last week and my jeep is much nicer then the previous swampers i had on there. and they hook up waaay better

I would have pieced together a lift instead of spending the money on the RE.
No regrets on lifting it though. Maybe gone up an extra inch, which is probably in the future.
Is it egg nog season yet?
