The potential exists for 1-2 feet of snow in parts of northern and western New England, Upstate New York, northern Pennsylvania and northern New Jersey. Coupled with strong winds, drifts in excess of 3 feet are possible!
Lighter amounts are expected to the south and west, although at this time, it's not out of the question that snow-weary parts of southern Pennsylvania, northern Maryland, Delaware and southern New Jersey could see around 6" of wind-driven snow, as well.
Coastal New England to Long Island may see much more rain, than snow during this event, limiting accumulations there.
