hey guys, i know i don't talk much on this forum seeing as i don't have any mechanical knowledge to pass down to you... buttttt i am holding a charity event and would like to raise as much money as i can just as much as id like to meet you guys (even though ill most likely be seeing most of you or the frequent users the following day at the m&g).
im holding a polar plunge event at brownstone park in portland, ct. ALL PROFITS will benefit Connecticut Children's Medical Center, we're just asking for $10 minimum as a donation for you to jump into the freezing cold quarry (of course depending on weather- you could end up extremely lucky and have it be a hot day but id doubt it), orrr you could just give the $10 you would donate to a friend if you decide not to jump. the individual who raises the most money will receive a season adventure pass ($180 value) to Brownstone Park where we have cliff jumping, ziplines, wakeboarding, rock climbing, scuba diving and basic water activities.
coffee and hot chocolate will be served as well as pizza. hot beverages will be complimentary and pizza could be as well if we get a big enough crowd to go, if not the slices would only be $1 but you are welcome to bringing your own food. we have a huge field and parking lot for tailgating. by tuesday i will definitely know if radio 104.1 is signing on, but it looks like a go. if not we're going to go ahead with the as always

......coming out of that water, I cant even imagine it being possible to look cool
