this trip was incredible...when we woke up tuesday morning like will said, i was speechless. it is absolutely beautiful out there.

wednesday i had the opportunity to work with king shocks and help them promote and organize a party they were having in the pirate4x4 lounge. i had a blast...met LOTS of new people...HMC definitely made a lot of new connections and tightened existing ones this past week...king is gonna post pics on their website from the party, and once they are up i will post them here (they are hysterical )

i absolutely plan on going again next year, now that we have been there i have a better understanding of what needs to be done, planned, rented, etc, and will and i are already talking about what we wanna bring out there, how much money we need to save, etc.

if you wanted to go this year and couldn't, i highly suggest you start saving now for next year these pictures, and the video will will post later on in the week, can't even capture everything we saw. there were moments when i was just standing around and couldnt believe what i was seeing.

I think everyone was just busting your balls (at least I was) for the most part. It sounds like a fucking sick trip......actually let me rephrase that, it IS a fucking sick trip, hopefully I can accompany some of you bastids in the near future. Maybe next year if I'm not fucking broke, but I wouldn't count on it

As far as I know, the Rocker doesn't come in a comp. compound (sticky) like most of the other racers used, so maybe that played a factor? I'm just curious because I hear nothing but praise for the Rocker, and that it's one of the toughest DOT approved tires on the market.

^ everything i have read about the rockers is that they are a great tire. just very stiff, so they have to be aired down pretty low. but aside from that they are supposed to grip like crazy.
