he made it to like MM60 or some shit, i dont even remember...but he was towed back to camp by another campbell in the race, Nick I believe, so he wasnt DQ'ed for assistance like last year...and they fixed it and headed back out, and he actually finished 16th, which is pretty fuckin awesome considering that

claytons co driver Jim Lambert bailed towards the beginning of the race because he was getting beat up in the rig, and went missing for awhile out there lol..and last i heard clayton had to walk pretty damn far for some parts or something, and ended up throwing in the towel at some point, DNF. i actually didnt catch up with him much this week, just enough to talk with him at the LCQ and then to give him stickers on tech day

to give you all a scale of how big hammertown was, here are a couple pics, neither are HMCs though. it actually became a full on town in the middle of the desert...the lights at night down boone road all the way to town was insane. it went from barren lakebed to this in 1 weeks time

unfortunately whoever it was on bigelows team that set yours to record made it go to the picture function by accident...and we got no video of him, all i got were 2000 pictures, lol. its too bad too, he rolled in the high speed desert...oh well

it really means a lot, we worked really hard to make sure we did a great job at KOH...we met lots of new people and tightened existing relationships. we are constantly creating new ideas and trying to carry them out as much as possible, and hopefully with this new success HMC has we can continue working with people like pirate4x4 and expand the HMC name even more!
