Last week, I took my macbook to the apple store because the magnetic charging piece was fucked up. When I took it there they said it had to be replaced because it was all burnt up. which could have happened due to a power surge. I bought applecare when i got the comp but that was a year or so expired so I figured I would have to pay for it. He said it would be cheap to fix so whatever. They called me last friday asking if they could change the battery, fix a bad sensor, and replace the keys/cover. and he said that it would be covered by mac. So i finally go to pick it up today expecting a bill for the part i originally went in for and BAM, I paid 0 dollars. That is fucking amazing. Amazing customer service. over a year after my applecare thing is over, I get everything free anyway. go mac. jolly good, well done.

No you didnt. I have an 80G Ipod Classic, i replaced the hard drive and battery in it and put it all in a new case. The problem i am having now is my music programs (linux) wont recognize the ipod when its plugged in all of a sudden.
