me and kaylie have been together for 8 months, and I've known her for more than two years. We are working out finding her a place to live for now until I get settled out in Mass (if I get the job) Hopefully once I get settled she will move out there with me and keep working / continue her nursing education at a hospital / school.
Less than a half hour till the dude calls me. I feel weird not having a face to face interview but I guess it'll be ok! I'll let you all know how I make out and thanks for the support

That's rough with the girl thing, but with this job market, you'd be incredibly lucky to get a job at all, nevermind right out of school. 8months isn't so long in the big scheme of things.

              edit:good luck.

i actually have to agree with riot...haha

if she loves you and thinks things will work out, i'm sure she will do whatever she can to be as close as possible to you. not being close isn't easy, but it would be awesome if she does come out to you when you are all settled in. she should be happy you found an awesome opportunity and that you are one of the lucky ones finding a job so fast

Thanks guys! Well I had the interview and it seemed like he was pretty interested in hiring me. I'm good friends with a guy in the company who started just last year right of school with the same education I have. He said he will let me know by friday what his decision is, then the hiring process takes about a week, then after that I'll give my current employer two weeks notice...... then I'm moving to the new bedford MA area.

My girl is taking it pretty hard, and I won't be able to leave until we have her living & transportation needs taken care of. I've even offered to add her to my insurance policy and let her DD my XJ until she gets her own car. Hopefully she begins to understand that this a good thing and a good opportunity for us BOTH to move away from home and do our own thing finally.

it took me a while to realize it, but moving away from your hometown and starting fresh on your own is a very good thing

Yes... Yes it is. Makes me wish I moved out 4 years ago. I don't have any close friends left from my hometown. They pretty much live all over the world now.

Says you. I'm still going there in the Grand Wagoneer, even if all I do is part in that dirt lot and turn around to come home.
