This place hardly ever gets snow... If we .5" a year, its a lot. Especially in Hampton Roads, being right on the coast and all... Well yesterday we got almost a foot... It was nuts, everything was chaos... These people do not know how to drive at all. So many wrecks... I went out and made about 80 bucks pulling people out of ditches...
The first guy I pulled out, he was driving a 70's something ford f-150 that was restored, so mint , well, it was mint.. He did a 180 and ended up backwards in a sign.. fucked up the drivers side pretty good.. Im pretty sure he was wasted... I pulled him out for free , and 2 minutes later he was stuck in the center median, so I went and pushed him out again. I told my buddy who was with me that we would see him 5 miles down the road stuck again... Sure enough, 5 miles down the road his truck was upside down in a ditch, totalled... He wasnt with the truck though, but we laughed our asses off at him...
They dont have plows really down here so even a day later the roads are still completely fucked... They are out plowing with construction equipment and graders and back hoes and shit... Highways are fucked...

These next two pictures are the jeep out in the middle of Yorktown National Battlefield. Its the site of the last battle of the Revolutionary war where George Washington drove the British out and ended the war... Im smack dab in the middle of the battlefield where 1000's of British and American soldiers lost their lives..
Looking down Jefferson Ave, in Newport News,VA.. A normally very busy road, not so busy yesterday.
A look down 64 east towards Hampton / VA Beach... Highway was shitty and nobody was out
