i had one of those cars. freaking bad-ass. probably one of the most under-rated cars ford ever made.

mine dyno'd at 206 rwhp and 308 rwtq - bone stock ... but i know guys pumping 400+ out of them.

i plan on using a SC motor for my new rock buggy

Besides the headgasket I was very suprised to see it in such good shape when we picked it up. It needs a good cleaning and the hod painted.

main cause of head gasket failure is wwwaaayyy too much back-pressure due to the really shitting exhaust system.

i think i still have a late-model (92+) gas tank somewhere in the garage/storage. it allows you to swap to a "straight through" between the gas tanks rather than out around the side.

maybe next time the SiS crew comes to Rausch i can lug it up there if you want it. tank was like $50 and the new strap was $80 or so. but at this point toss me $75 and they are both yours.
