    Ummm Didn't you see my High Wheel bike at the last outdoor meet and greet? It had Soild rubber tires. They are not a new thing just a new design. The ones on my bike are the same principal these are just a new idea.

              we watched a movie on those in class the other day, I thought they were kinda cool but pretty damn ugly

                If someone could develop an offroad version that was extremely flexible and tough i don't see why rock crawlers wouldn't go for it.
