I do it a bit for the image to be honest, but if I could get it running at like 80% or even 65% and not smell like dead chipmunks I'd beat the shit out of it on some boulders.

i want to bounce my jeep off boulders but 1) i cant find any boulders to bounce it off and 2) it would suck to break something because its my DD and i'm on a highschooler's budget. i do enjoy wrenching on my jeep and i will admit that i do take pride in my jeep's appearance. i don't see why you cant have a nice looking vehicle that's also functionalLast edited by offrdyj87; 12-26-2009, 11:25 PM.1987 YJ

I love wrenching on my jeep and wheeling the piss out of it, hitting rocks and trees and what not, but I also like driving in a lifted vehicle, it show off what you can do, I can DD my trail rig but I choose not too.-Caleb

i try to keep my jeep looking nice. my build is based on practicality, therefore ive been spending most of my build time lately making it more on road capable because its my dd and because my 19 month old son rides in it. i know what it can do offroad and its perfectly capable in those respects and now my focus is to make it look and feel better around town2005 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited

My jeeps lack of wheeling is due to finance issues. But still as long as I'm still paying 400 dollars a month and don't actually own it I'm not destroying it. He'll even after that I'm not "destroying" it. I waited a long long time for it and wanna keep it. People who freak out about a baby scratch on an offroading vehicle are ridiculous. But someone just wanting to take care of their car isn't.2009 silver JK - destination beachy jeepJ10 project do want."attack life. its just going to kill you anyway"

Everyone who said they keep their jeep nice and make it capable is probably the closest response as how I feel. Why the hell would you build a truck just to smash it up to make it look hardcore. Apathy in vehicles is stupid.
This excludes the guys who smash it wheeling hard and rebuilding stronger. That, I find respectable. Is it egg nog season yet?

Dents are going to happen offroad, you have to either learn to get used to them or you fix each and every one.sigpic
