I think that there is definatly a ratio that needs to be observed when building a vehicle that involves tire size/wheelbase/COG. if all work together, the rig seems to be capible and look good. Ive seen plenty of rigs on 47"s that I wouldnt mind wheeling. And Ive also seen many that i wouldnt be caught dead in running the same tires.
I agree that this guy probably should have stuck with something smaller, maybe along the lines of 40"s-42"s. and his rig would look and probably wheel better.
Now im not saying that the argument that you really dont NEED anything bigger than 37"s to wheel even the toughest terrain doesnt have some truth to it, but there are cases in which certain rigs do seem to look and wheel better with larger tires.
