    National Tire + Wheel has the Smittybuilt XRC 8000 W/ Synthetic Line on sale for 399.99. Also $25 shipping on all electric winches. Just thought I'd pass it along for anyone looking......

            If you are winching the average TJ/YJ/XJ/etc. then 8k lbs is plenty strong. Carry a snatch block to be safe and you would be good to go.
