I have a few of the nifty clear plastic ones and they are deff better because they stand out to customers, last longer and are just plain cooler. Cool business cards deff go over well.

Besides these will be handed out at events where mud and dirt and water will most likely be present. So they are more durable then paper.

My father has paper, but I don't think he even has the option for plastic as he just takes what his boss gives him.

As far as paper or plastic (lol), I'm going to have to say both. Paper would be great for putting out at a booth so random people can just grab one, but when someone speaks to you, you can give them a plastic card because they are more likely to buy from you in the long run. Anything I have to say has been said like 10 times already though.

Go with metal. It is HeavyMetal Concepts after all...

One notorious individual in the security field actually has metal business cards that contain a lock picking kit:

Edit: Here's where you can have them made:

Get paper because it is biodegradable and better for our mother earth.

I think this is very true as I always give people business cards and have them come back with those same cards because I put notes on the back of them. I also think people keep more information electronically now too. I personally have tons of business cards, but anyone company or person that I find worth keeping is now in either my phones, as well as backed up in Outlook.
