mine have a lot of play actually almost half a turn
No worries, I'm not actually back, I'm just reminiscing about the old days.

There should be some play with no load on the DS from
the backlash, and the spider gears. A half turn is excessive.
If you have a spool, there should be very little.

The front moves very little but the rear moves about little less than half turn. I was told this is like this on my jeep for two reasons, the Detroit locker induces some play and my parking pin is on its way out as my jeep rolls about a foot once in park and brake is taken off.

hahaha sye anyways! jk Are your tires balanced? Any chance you could have lost a wheel weight? When was the last time you got an alignment? Or am I completely wrong and it is clearly a drive line vibration?

and if all that checks out, jack the front up and try to
wiggle the tires. Bad hub assembly FTMFL. Just went
through this, and the vibes were at 45-50....... 0.02

Yeah - I think its something up front - just been cold and I've been lazy about checking it out. Next warm day I'll crawl underneath and give it a look.
