The increased weight of a diff cover from 1/4" to 3/8" is nowhere the same as using .188 wall tubing instead of .120, or 2" instead of 1 3/4". Also cages can and do flex and bend. It is part of the design and helps to absorb energy in a crash or rollover. To perform it's function as a cover that seals properly, a diff. cover must be as rigid as possible.You're a ___________
