    Is this a bad idea? Its only like 10 miles.

    i'd probably do it. just be careful and dont do it during peak traffic if youre wary

      be careful, id rock it though.

      i have done sketchier

      lifted xj on 33's with stock gears towing a lifted xj on 37's 5 miles using a recovery strap

                            Yes do it.
                            I got towed in my comanche (dead fuel pump) by a ford ranger 2wd in a blizzard with a several inches of snow on the ground ~4 miles in the dark.

                            Your situations is ideal. Do it

                              my grandfather tows his 25' watkins sailboat on a dual axel trailer total weight of just under 5k with his 00 v8 grand cherokee limited no problems, pulls like a champ.
