This years show is on Oct, 4th at Central Connecticut State University in the Student Center parking lot.
And this year I could really use SiS help BIG TIME!!!
Last year I got a lot of shit about how all the imports showed up in the rain and like only 10-15 lifted jeeps and trucks came.
This year we are pushing to increase the size and turnout of our fall show by bringing in vendors and trying to get together another car smash, as well as creeper races, a tire changing competition, a pizza eating contest and DJ on campus all day.
It's $10 to enter this year with all proceeds going to charity.
Tragically, last year Brian Wilson a member of the club passed away due to a heart attack at only the age of 23. we are planning as we did last spring to make a donation to the American heart association of all the proceeds in his name.
I would like to group as many SiS guys and girls
together as I possibly can (theres a row about 15 spots wide and two deep that I'm trying to tape off).
A trophy is given to best Truck/Jeep and it would be awesome if a Jeep could walk away with it!
To top it all off there is even a special opportunity for HMC which I need to talk to Will about before I spill the beans. Its a great opportunity to get SiS together and meet/see the members once again while helping a great cause.
