My newest addiction. I know Doug used to play and was really good, anyone else here play or have any success with it? Ive been playing on Pokerstars and Fulltilt, but seem to like Pokerstars better. Ive only been playing for fake money right now, and am trying to get better and learn the game before i make the leap to real money. Some people pull some real money on here which makes me want to give it a shot. Ive been watching this show on G4 called "2 Million in 2 Months" about these 4 young guys ( all in their 20s) who pool together their money, move to vegas, and try and win 2 million bucks in 2 months playing online poker. Its sick.

i used to play on pokerstars, but until you play for real money it sucks

too many idiots doing it because they are bored that don't really know how to play, so it isn't even fun

i know a 26 yr old kid with a 08 M6 BMW, multi-millon dorra house and a few other cars, just from online poker. kid wins over 250k per game

A buddy of mine did nothing but play online poker and golf for 4-5 years. He made roughly 45k a year through it. He only quit when it became 'illegal' to withdraw the funds.

If your somewhat decent at poker and dont play emotionally you can make money pretty easy. As in, dont take a chance on a pair of 8's cuz you think the other online douche is bluffing. Just play the big hands.

ive played it and been up a few hundred bucks. you can do good if you know when to fold a hand and not try and play it out. what alot of people do is have 4-5 of your friends play at the same table as you, and you all use a program like ventrillo or a group aim / msn msger thing. soon as you get your cards, type what you have in the group chat, see what 3 cards flop down in the middle then see who has the best hand and play that way. others fold or bet a tiny bit to keep the other 3-4 players in the game a little longer.

my friends did that for awhile and pulled over 1000 dollars each. Then fulltilt caught on, saw that the same IP addresses were playing together in the same rooms every day, and took all their winnings away.
