Favre begged the front office to get randy moss when he was available and they refused, he never really had the top notch receiving corp as the other elite QBs. donald driver and bubba franks were decent, but they are so substitute for a guy like randy moss. the media is just pissed because its all the same guys who acted like they were brett's buddy saying "o i talked to him last night and he promised me he wasnt playing" he just made them look like idiots and thats why they blow this out of proportion.

Meh, you are taking that situation out of context. I believe it was 2006 when Oakland traided Moss to New England, and (justified or not) Moss wasn't what you would consider a "team player" in Oakland. He basically gave up on the team that year, not to mention I'm pretty sure he had just had some tough battles with injuries right before that. Hindsight is always 20-20, it was hard to predict Moss would come back and be such a score. There was a lot of people who believed he could turn into another Terrell Owens. Granted the Patriots got him for a fucking steal (4th round pick) and I agree the Packers were fucking retarded to not and try working out a deal such as that. But I don't believe that was the reason there was a falling out between Green Bay and Favre.
