I want to get a DD too. My mom doesnt like me coming home and the jeep being more beat. I really want an MJ or a 97+ Xj.

I think Im the opposite. I have the Ford as a DD and its fucking killing me. I was happy to have it at first, but now i just miss my jeep. the ford is big and stupid and has all sorts of small problems that keep me plenty aggravated. I would kill for an Impreza or a RSX, or even a Taco for a DD, but cant afford it. I get the feeling tho that once the speed-j drives right(hopefully around May) it will become my DD again for a while and the ford will go bye bye. then that money may go into my chevy.

I bought my 5.2 limited because it was comfortable and i wanted to make my xj a trail rig. Now im starting to despise my 5.2 and i wanna make my xj more road worthy. Eventually i'll be buying a 2005+ legacy 2.5 gt for a daily though, hopefully around 300-320whp. Nothing rediculous and unreliable, just something fun and comfortable.

My friend drives one, I would definitely take one. That car is sick. Looks like a camry pulls like an STI. I'd even take a forester 2.5 XT

anywhoser my 99 XJ drives and works fine, if you can get past the windows not working all the time, or the door locks not working all time, and the LCAs creaking and knocking all the time. other than that, i actually like driving my jeep. Drives straight and smooth on the highway and gets me from A to B and if I have to drive over things, it does the job. It also gets 16-17 MPG in the summer. I cant justify spending the money on a DD
