my friend that i work with told me this story lately about how a guy from his town after a nasty divorce with his wife first burned down their home and then a few years later kidnapped her in a basement full of explosives and was threatening to blow it up with them both inside. luckily the woman escaped, i think the guy was shot down by the SWAT team and is now in the hospital. crazy shit like this happens all the time, and it just sucks because we just sit and watch it happen.
