Then you have to take into account that the cop probably doesnt give a shit and will call it off as soon as you run.

I can imagine getting away on a bike... the plates r so small. & bikes r faster than cars.

I will talk about the motorola being faster than you point. Yes they can radio ahead saying "i am in a chase and need assistance" but by saying that they are hoping that there is another cop in the general direction let alone the same area you are heading. Now say you are heading south on "main street" they will call ahead and tell them that. Which in theory would work if everyone was predictable. Now what happens when a couple of cops set up a road block and you turn on a side street now they have to get re grouped to catch you. Most chases will be shut down if 1 they can not catch you in x amount of time 2 if they feel by chasing you they are putting more civilian lives at risk. Most cops CAN NOT drive at chase speeds above 100 mph they where trained in controlled cconditions doing less than 45 mph. They are not mind readers so they can not predict your moves rendering radios useless, unless you are on a flat stretch of high way with no exits but then you can still make a u turn.

BTW the point of "they will get your plate if they want it" is total bullshit, as if they only radio when they really want assistance. They are constantly calling in the status of shit, even if it's a routine stop, it's not like they only report in when shit turns ugly.

If they were capable of getting your plate, they would do it and bust you at a later time.

ahh what you fail to mention about the training speeds of 45 is that they also train in "skid cars". For those that don't know, it's this dolly system that the car is set on that makes it handle like it is doing twice its actual speed.

Kind of a gay video but you get the idea...

It looks to me as if those skills are mainly for driving in inclement weather conditions, you can't successfully simulate a high speed pursuit without actually being in one.

ahh but i did not MOST do not use the casters on the car for there training exercises. I know that for a fact. My cousins a cop, i did carpentry for a cop, oh and i used to tow for the cops. So my point is still valid.

have run on foot and in car, but in the car it wasnt like a full blown chase. I saw lights, i pulled a couple quick turns before he could and drove off.

cop was in a parking lot 50 feet past a light i was at. i pinned it outta the light and he pulled out after me with lights on. at that point i was doing 50 in second gear on my way up the revs so i kept it pinned. by the time i turned off the highway, he was a half mile back, all i saw was his strobes. kept it pinned all the way home, he had no chance.
