    What are some things that would make your ideal factory Jeep? Lets not make this a lame ass thread that says OMG JEEPS ON 37S WITH FF60S AND CUTTING BRAKES!1!!

    Lets be reasonable and logical with this one.

    Standardized bolt system, aka all metric or all SAE, pick one please. Ideally metric. All grade 8 (class 10.9).

    A continued XJ (duh) with STILL a unibody, but a really strengthened strong unibody. (aka you dont need 4584943 tie ins, it doesnt bend and explode)

    No dana 35s. Dana 44 rear standardized.

    No weak unitbearings.

    Bigger better brakes from the factory (no more wet sponge please)

    Rubicon or similar trim packages all throughout the line.

    44 rear standardized, bigger brakes, stronger unibody.... like will said
    beefier steering setup
    factory removable doors
    adjustable trac bar from the factory
    Dana 30 shafts with the spicer 760's instead of using the 297 u joints

      basically all of the above.

      Better Brakes, Rear discs no D 35, the 29 spline 8.25 and D 44 are 2 very good options.

      A nice Ruby style trim package would be nice.

      No 4 banger

      The 4.0 HO with the tj 6 speed manual tranny would be nice.

      D 30's with beefier setup, U joints, shafts, etc.

      Standardized bolts DUH

      Power accessories that dont fail after it drives off the dealership lot.

      Stock size tire to be a 30x9.5 with 3:73 gears stock, fuk that 225 or 215 tire bs.

      Rear head rests like the export models

      Continue the Xj line longer like the Bejing style xj or just keep it the same, people would still buy a 2009 xj if it looked just like a 2001.

        x2 on the Dana 44 rear standardized

        Less use of the torx bit bolts, really there is no need to have 10-15 torx bolts holding on the fender flares, SAE bolts would have been fine.

        4W disc breaks, though probably unnessary on a DD wrangler would be nice.

        Better interior patterns on the base models, simple gray or black cloth seats, no need for the weird off color pattern designs.
        99 TJ 4cyl, 4" short arm, 33" MTZ's, JKS quick discos, smittybilt front, rear & rockers

        Work to be done: Clayton long arm, ford 8.8 rear locker & 1 ton

          x2 on ACTUAL HUBS, ya know.. lockouts? (would save gas too!)

          get rid of that stupid factory steering. get a propper drag link and tire rod

          track bar setup in double sheer on the frame side

          beefy steering box with a brace

          higher clearance gas tank

          tubular control arms... (are they on the JK's?)

          get rid of that stupid t-case linkage

          and a flat skid (not the shovel thats on newer TJ's)

          beef up the sheet metal thin axle brackets

          an A-pillar and spreader bars on the stock cage with "oh shit!" handles

          that bout covers it

                      1. Beefed up unibody or a frame (same dimensions as unibody rails.)
                      2. Internal roll cage
                      3. Removable doors/ half doors
                      3. Hemi or 4bt option
                      4. At least 1/2 tons optional 1 tons
                      5. Rubicon option (i.e. e-lockers, 4:1 gearing, 4:10 gears(optional4:56,4:88,5:13) and KICKIN stereo)

                      Of course the price of said vehicle would be outta my price range and part of the fun (at least for me) is getting my hands dirty and building the shit myself. Also, the Cherokee, I believe, was meant to be an economical car with a low price so this "dream factory cherokee" is not even feasible.

                            i like alot of these ideas. i would want them to come stock with 32" ATs atleast, like the FJ does
