I am in the process of very slowly upgrading it with little cash I do have. All of my new backpacking gear and bills have consumed most of my money. I ordered up a set of 3/16" full corners which come in on Wednesday and I am going to take it through emissions, re-register it, cut out and regusset some of the cage gussets soon. Sadly, it doesn't appear time is going to allow me to make it to Rausch this year though. During the summer I will have Saturdays & Sundays free but its a looong ride in a looooud, slow Jeep for one night (dont have a truck to pull it anymore). Hopefully you will see me back on the trail soon. Every summer I look forward to going to RC more than anything. I hope to make it back down this year but time will tell. I feel I have been out of the loop and haven't gone to any of the meet and greets lately because the days have conflicted...and in all honesty, with the influx of of so many new members, I know less people than more now. It will be nice to get my Jeep back on the road and come out to see everyone and feel like a club member once again!
Hey Steve, thanks for being so humble about taking time off to let a lot of other people including myself catch up. See you on the trail, or maybe at the bar!

I saw The Wide-J a few weeks ago and it was on "stock" tires. I cryed a little on the inside.

Even with rims that have 0 backspacing, its still wider than the body with flares on it. I am thinking of bending up a set of tube fenders up front, and a set of rear flares to bolt or weld to the full corners.

I was at my cousin's wedding in April and one of his friend's from the Marines knows you, Steve. I forget his name but he's a tall kid with a Long-armed Sahara on 35s
