  • Software additions to the forum....

Now you do NOT have to use YT tags to get a video to work. ALL YOU NEED TO DO, is paste the youtube link as it is from your browser, and the forum will now auto embed it.
this also works for other sites videos as well. vimeo does not though to my knowledge..though u can use their embed code from their site because i have HTML enabled.
    its that easy.
    youre welcome youtube code sufferers

Smilies are now available for use in quick reply.

We have a donation system in place, shows a progress bar and all. Shows on the main forum index page.

You can now have thread descriptions. In the tech/fab/newb sections only. Allows you to add a brief description under the thread title in the forum display.

We have a panic button. I designed and added a Panic button the forum. Basically this is for those of you browsing at work/school that have to be discreet about it. Clickin this button (in the bottom right of everyone of your posts) will bring you to any website you determine in the settings right away. This is good for not getting caught browsing SiS when you should be doin work otherwise .You can turn this on in your UserCP under Edit Options. I believe it is defaulted to off. So if you want this feature, make sure to go turn it on in there.

The off / on option is right above where you put in the link to PANIC to.

I put in google.com and went to test it and it brought me to:

                      http://sisoffroad.com/forums/www.google.com

I PANICED AND GOT A WHITE SCREEN. The 404 message didn't even show up.

                      Forgot about adding HTTP://. lol.
