Cops are cracking down across the nation. I am curious what percentage of this group wears them. I always do.

Always. I also will not start moving until my passengers are buckled in ( unless I don't notice then I get really pissed when I find out ).

It seems dumb to not do something so simple that could save your life.

Also, It's like click it or ticket month or something, there were a couple check points in Hamden, in the strangest places checking for for belts.
Is it egg nog season yet?

I have to admit, the concept of wearing a seat belt is smart...BUT why does it have to be a law? I make my passengers wear theirs as well when i drive, but i only wear mine 50% of the time. If i save someone elses life by wearing MY seat belt, fine...but thats never the case. It is for your own personal safety, so why not make smoking cigs illegal? Whats next, lap seat belts for motorcycles? I also did some ride time on an ambulance, and i saw TWO separate MVA's in 1 month that both involved someone flying through the windshield, clear of the accident, had some pretty messed up gashes on the head, but the medic i rode w/ said it woulda been much worse if they had been strapped into the vehicle.

i always put mine on when i'm gettin on the highway, but sadly most times when i'm just rolling around town i don't mainly cause i drive like an old lady
No worries, I'm not actually back, I'm just reminiscing about the old days.
