Scarlet Collar: Female shop workers.
Black Collar: Miners (especially coal miners) and oil workers.
White Collar: A salaried professional, typically referring to general office workers and management.
Pink Collar: Secretarial, administrative, or other clerical workers.
Grey Collar: A skilled Technician, typically someone who is both white and blue collar, i.e., Information Technology workers.
Gold Collar: Highly skilled professionals who may be in high demand, such as engineers, doctors and lawyers.
Green Collar: Someone who holds an environmentally friendly job; such as a position at a hydro power plant.
Yellow Collar: People in the creative field—photographers, filmmakers, developers, etc.
Light Blue Collar: Temp workers, whether or not they're working a blue or white collar task.
Orange Collar: Workers who wear an orange safety vest during work.
Open Collar: Workers who work from home.
Silk Collar: Westerners going to Asia for work and opportunities.
