im looking at a 98ish ( cant rembember ) grand cherokee with a 5.9. would it make for a bad wheeling rig, ive used it as a tow rig a few times for motorcycles. i friend of mine wants 400 bucks and i thought it might be worth it.

since i dont need a dd i was thinking roof chop and cage?

what rear end and trans did they come with?

someone told me that they only made this 5.9 package for 1 year, is that true?

ok ill go buy it today, price is low because he wants it outta his driveway. he had a fender bender this winter.

runs and drives, but needs a bumper fender and maybe hood. doesn't even appear to have core support damage though.

the only bad part about it is that once and a while the jeep will drive away in park.

Cageing it is an idea, instead of chop. I just fell like doing some tube work ( maybe even just a tasteful tube bumper and roof rack ) There is no way im dd'ing it because I know it will never get better gas mileage than the metro
