Speaking of fixing guns, Phil, Im going to bring you the shotgun we were talking about to mount the scope. How long do you think it will take? Is it something I can hang out and wait for/help you to do and avoid two trips?
Also if its OK Im going to bring another shotgun with me that my friend mounted a scope to and must have bent something. It was a Weaver mount and he overtightened it and now its hard to slide.

I have around 5000 rounds through it I suppose. I took it all apart and its very clean. I'll try the spring. If the barrels separate it doesn't owe me anything and I'll send it off with a smile. I paid $650 for it and it's been good to me. I still haven't hit 100 straight. 98/100 is my best. I'm thinking about buying the FN SC-1. Basically a worked over Winchester 101.
