Recommend a cordless impact gun anyone?

Makita 3/8 18v impact works great for me. I have to break a lug nut free with a wrench first but its a fair trade off for not being able to overtorque anything

x2 on the Craftsman, had to replace it twice though. We have a Ryobi (hate away, hate away) 1/2-in impact as well that's been used heavily for several years with zero problems.

jon galica's craftsmen 1/2 inch from sears does almost everything we need to pull off. it's light and particularly great for the quicker bolts like lugs. 100 bucks at sears i'm going to soon grab my own.

do you happen to have a model number on said craftsman??

has anyone tried or heard anything about the Craftsman "Bolt-ON" line? sounds good in theory

I know you dont want to hear it but I have a snap on. I have had it probably 6 years. It will still take off every pinion nut, wheel nut and most anything else I put it on. For the time I have had it, I think its well, well worth the money.

I haven't used IR's power tools, but their air tools are the best, hands down.

I have an Ingersol Rand cordless one that is just as good as my Ingersol Rand Titanium air one. I wouldnt get anything else. I paid I think 450 or something. The thing is rated for the same reverse torque as my titanium, the batteries last a long time, and charge in 20 min. Ill be bringing it to OER if you wanna try it out.

That thing'll snap the nuts off a buck ill tell you what.... Seriously, it's ridiculous

This!! I beat the hell out of my gun at work and its amazing. I also have the matching 3/8 IR titanium..which will do lugs in a pinch without question. Im gonna buy another set for the trails

I bough the ingersol rand as well. My snap on and Matco dealers recommended it over theirs lol. I have taken truck lug nuts off. I can't do z whole truck but I got one wheel done lol.

I have the Matco thunder gun ( same as the ir) after 6 years it will still impress people. Oiling your air tools is the key.

We have the ir composite one inch impact at the shop talk about some balls!
